We'll find our way

"I don't want to play anymore. I'm tired and I want to go home," said Loki and sat down, looking like he was about to cry.
Thor bit his lip, trying to keep calm. He had realized long ago that they've gotten lost. He couldn't see the lake where they went with others for a swim. They've gotten too caught up in in their game to notice they were getting too far away. Now they were alone and he had no idea where to go. He's been trying to keep Loki in blissful ignorance by prompting him to keep playing, but now...
"We can't just sit here. We need to go back to the lake," he said.
"But my legs hurt," complained Loki.
Thor sighed, but then smiled encouragingly. "I'll carry you, okay?"
" 'Kay," whispered Loki. Thor picked him up, he put his arms around Thor's neck and his legs around Thor's hips and then looked around.
"Do you know where the lake is?" he asked, confused, when he realized he can't see the water glittering in the sunshine.
"Well..." Thor hesitated, but then reminded himself that he needs to be strong for his brother. "I'm sure we'll find our way."

At some point there had to be a time when Loki wasn't genius and Thor had to be the responsible older sibling. Right?

This was just a quickie. When something takes me 4 hours, then it's definitely quick. Yup.
I faked my way through this. As you can see, the background is a photo and the pose was based on another photograph. There are hardly any details at all. The fact that I suck at hair goes without saying. The more I'm looking at it, the more I hate it.
